fleeing from flashlights

little dog sits there
his poofy fur plastered down
licking rain from nose

filled all the way up
with bubbling excitement
escapes with a shriek

giving up her pride

Okay. So there is actually a story behind this one! It's based on a story called "A Man Called Horse" by Dorothy M. Johnson, and it's about this guy who gets captured by the Crow Tribe. Its probably one of my favorite short stories.
